The hooks on this track are so fucking good.
South London collective Rocweiler deliver their third release, showcasing their range of backgrounds and influences in a very dope fashion. Texas born YSK brings his impressive flow and authenticates the stateside influence, Sesey’s incredible ability to conjure up these powerful melodies and Dodz coming in with the gritty London tone (hear Dodz go in on his track No Title). We hear a lot of music these days with a combination of these influences… you could say it’s an oversaturated sound but when done with authenticity it resonates and makes an impact.

Listening to their catalogue you can tell that these boys are trying to do something different. They have an obvious songwriting talent that I can’t ignore. I’m not personally keen on the verses but the hooks and the songs as a whole are very impressive to me. I feel like these boys are going to be very consistent with releasing good music.
Another act that I’ve recently discovered who I’d love to see live. Collectives always carry mad energy into their live shows… and rap is a tricky genre to get right live. But the energy in these tracks is something I’d see carry over for sure.
I think these guys are going to grow into something special.
