Music production, drawing and cartoons. These three worlds connect and dialogue with each other in Lava Dome’s creative flair. Lava Dome aka Eden Levy is one of Tel Aviv’s most forward-thinking producers. The London-based creator describes his style as a grey space which sits somewhere between iconic old school hip-hop and the Pokemon world. This eccentric yet lucky combination is what he considers “how incredible strength feels like”.

Like many other artists, Lava Dome also got into music as a kid. What makes his music so peculiar is that he never quite abandoned the influence cartoons had on him. In fact, his love for music production developed together with his admiration for drawing and animation and became a unicum. With DJ Walter, DJ Galo and Mo Rayon as his biggest inspirations, Lava Dome started making his own music, soon rocking the boat outside of Tel Aviv thanks to guest mixes on Rinse FM and NTS Radio. Recently, two of his latest tracks, ‘Hair Down and ‘Seguro (w/ blastah)’ hit 10,000 plays on SoundCloud. Riding on the wave of his success, and in view of the crisis currently affecting the music industry, Eden also managed to raise money and send 100% of his profits to charities like ‘National Bail Out’, ‘Pimento Relief Fund’, and ‘Affinity Community Services’.

He’s been working on his new EP ‘Glaciate’, which is the sequel to his first EP ‘Magma’. It will soon be released and represents the second element of a soon-to-become trilogy. He’s also got a collaborative project with Architect from Prestige Pak that’ll come out this year.

Check out his latest track ‘After Cryonics’, it's the first single off his upcoming EP and will blow you away: http://hyperurl.co/d2pzek.
