‘Twisted’ is a new collaborative track released by two of Canada’s freshest hip-hop forces, Supreme Swiss and Henny Hendrx.
These guys have both been busy this year, and ‘Twisted’ follows on from a line of singles and EPs released over the past few months. These include Supreme Swiss’ single ‘Safe’, and Henny Hendrx’s EP ‘Club 777’, which he released with Cjcrewlove.
‘Twisted’ feels like Supreme Swiss’ reintroduction to the world. He is making sure everyone in the game knows who he is, that he is the real deal, and he’s not going to waste any time in telling us.
Supreme Swiss takes this song as an opportunity to flex on everyone, show us what he’s earned so far and how it’s not about to end any time soon.
Throughout the track, Supreme Swiss plays around with his flow and flirts with our ears through his unique wordplay, showing us that he is having fun whilst doing it.
‘Twisted’ is enhanced by and injected with Henny Hendrx’s distinctively powerful trap beats. I am a sucker for a strong bassline, and the intro and breakdowns focus on a heavy bass that rumbles in the chest, adding depth to the playful synths.
It’s a maelstrom of swirling melodies that intertwines with Supreme Swiss’ flow effortlessly, making it a powerful collaborative tune.
