Maxi Millz is a man on a mission right now and is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down. Maxi grew up in a music-loving household and began his musical journey at an early age, listening to his parents’ music. His upbringing would consist of Motown, Blues, and Soul records, as he fell in love with artists such as Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers, Earth Wind and Fire, and Aretha Franklin, citing them as his greatest inspirations. Maxi spent a large part of his childhood with his family in America, experiencing a rich culture of music in cities like London, New York, and Baltimore which now manifests itself through his music. Maxi Millz has fully established his sound, and is growing stronger with every release.
Maxi Millz’ previous release ‘Danny Ocean’ made some serious waves in the music industry, and he’s now followed it up with an R&B dream in the form of MDNA ahead of his debut project ‘Captions’ due out on the 26th March. Maxi sings in his new track “Please don’t waste my time with this shot, I ain’t got no patience” and one thing is for certain, through his last few releases, he is definitely not wasting any of his shots. The track consists of an exceptionally smooth and enticing soundscape, filled with rhythmic guitars and a postmodern trap-inspired beat that perfectly shows off his incredible versatility.

With support coming from the likes of BBC 1xtra’s Yasmin Evans and Tiffany Calver, the hugely charismatic Maya Jama, and one of the UK’s brightest talents in Pa Salieu, it speaks volumes how highly they all rate Maxi Millz. Maxi is quickly becoming a presence that is hard to ignore, and there is an undeniable excitement stemming from his supporters. With ‘Captions’ due out later this month, it feels as though Maxi Millz is seriously on the verge of blowing up.
