You know when a song just gives you that feeling, yeah, this is one of those tracks. Nigerian rapper LADIPOE has hit us up with his latest track ‘Feeling’ featuring BUJU and it’s just got those feel-good vibes that make you want to fast forward to summer so you can skank it up in the clubs again. But back to LADIPOE, the journey to being an artist wasn’t as straightforward for Poe, he studied a double major and masters in the US, in North Carolina with the intention of becoming a doctor, but it wasn’t until a friend sent him a beat that his obsession for music and writing lyrics began, and the rest, as they say, is history.

LADIPOE has worked with the likes of Tems, Teni, Falz, Crayon, and Simi to name a few, but Poe always felt like he was facing an uphill battle. However, now Poe’s mission has that little extra substance to it, he wants to shake off that old, outdated narrative that rappers from Nigeria can’t win. But this only makes him stronger. Poe is driven by proving people wrong, and his “Leader Of The Revival” status came from him feeling as though people don’t understand him. But the thing is, with the music he’s releasing, it seems as though everyone around him is starting to pay attention, and those who tune in are really now starting to understand him.

Feeling’ featuring BUJU captures those uplifting moments and encourages everyone intrinsically to live and be present each day. LADIPOE lives by the mantra “No Punchlines, Just Lifelines” and you understand what he means by that when you check out his music. His lyrics are his lifelines as well as gifts for all who listen, so we suggest you check him out.
