Derby-based rapper, KC has returned with the release of his latest single ‘Cold Hearted’, and whilst this may be his outlook towards relationships and his love life, there certainly is no cold-heartedness towards his music career. In fact, it is quite the opposite. KC’s seemed to always be destined for a career in music, growing up in a music-orientated household, his involvement in music came at a young age where he would support his dad's DJ career, which often lead to KC sleeping under the decks. From there on out, music organically became a burning pursuit for KC, and he’s showing this desire through his relentless work to make it to the big time.
KC built his own recording studio shortly after leaving school, and in doing so created a hub for some of the East Midlands finest emerging talents. Through this home-built studio, KC had to serve as his own engineer, and occasionally producer, however, this just shows again how unbelievably committed KC is to the life of music. KC has put relentless hours into honing his craft, and taking great pleasure in the final polished product that we hear today, even more so in the form of his latest single ‘Cold Hearted’.

‘Cold Hearted’ displays KC’s alluring vocals that flow effortlessly across a gritty 808-led production. KC has that amazing sound where R&B meets Rap, and it just works perfectly. What’s more, the Derby-native uses his character-filled pen to deliver an infectious soundscape. Having reinstated himself for 2021, ‘Cold Hearted’ sets an example for what’s to expect in the near future. And if it’s anything as good as ‘Cold Hearted’, it won’t be long before KC becomes a household name. With plans to establish himself further, KC looks to release multiple projects this year taken from a wide range of unreleased music. The future looks pretty mad for KC, and we want to be there every step of the way.
