With each new year comes a new bunch of songs vying to be 'song of the summer', and sometimes it can be tough to find something truly fresh.  But do not fear, Still High is here. The latest from London rapper/producer Feux certainly stands a cut above the rest.  This prodigious artist brings another feel-good banger to the table, elevated by a fluorescent and fun-filled music video, skilfully produced by Big Bubba.  The track has a new music video which Feux himself directs, following the release of his EP DUBIOUS earlier this month.  The man has spent his life immersed in music having grown up in a house with three older brothers who dabbled in rap, and it shines through this release.

We join Feux as he cycles through the streets of London to his job in an ice-cream van, showcasing some mad drip as he goes.  Our lad strikes up an unlikely friendship with a fellow worker - who can only be described as a dog-human hybrid! The pair lark around together, handing out ice-creams and expressing their joy for life as they cycle together through the clouds.  The trippy visuals are a perfect match for Feux's sharp bars and smooth flow, taking us on a musical and visual journey into hip-hop wonderland.  The schools of hip-hop both old and new are threaded throughout his work and this is no exception, with shades of alt hip-hop luminaries like Mos Def and A Tribe Called Quest.

The only downside to the track is that at 2 minutes 47 seconds, it's criminally short. A testament to the captivating beauty of those beats.  Still High can be likened to one of the ice creams the lads hand out in the vid, one lick just doesn't cut it and only leaves wanting more.  Feux himself says it best: 'I been on a roll' and he is showing no signs of stopping.  From this single alone, it's clear that the ride is far from over and you'd be mad not to get on board.
