Etta Bond and A2 took the stage at Olso Hackney last month, ending the year with a special performance with supporting act WorldPeaceOscar to warm up the venue. Both artists had the crowd elevated after a long-awaited show, the pair performed effortlessly alongside each other, sharing the stage and alternating between their own songs. There’s no question why this show was sold out.

The crowd welcomed A2 onto the stage first. We got to hear his melodic hits, ‘Gold’, ‘Renegade’, ‘Not Mine’ and more from his ‘All Spill’ 2019 album. Looking into the crowd, you can see the effect A2’s music has on his fans. Watering eyes and hands on their chest, his music will have you reminiscing your latest heartbreak. A2 gazed into the crowd, probably as surprised to see a packed venue as the crowd was to finally be at a show again. He smiled and welcomed Etta, debuting a gorgeous new look.

Etta’s presence on stage filled the room with excitement, with a first live performance of her newest single ‘Without You’ featuring Iman Omari, anyone would be stirred to sing along the lyrics to an Etta Bond tune.

Her latest album ‘He’s Mine’ and the sibling album ‘He’s Not Mine’ (2019), which has back to back hit’s, taking us through a very personal and emotional journey of love and loss and with features from the iconic SIR, London’s own Kojey Radical, Shae Universe and of course, A2. The Hypnotic duo ended the night on the classic and beloved hit, ‘Surface’ a song that has been riding the London scene since it’s release 2 years ago.

Etta and A2 brought talent, emotion and connection to Oslo that night. Bouncing their musical talents of each other whilst simultaneously performing so personally. Either as a pair or on singular projects, London is restless for more.
