Parra for Cuva Shares Uplifting New Single ‘Let It Burn’ Featuring Berlin-based BiPoc choir A Song For You

The renowned German producer who has been on a constant ascent over the past few years has shown no signs of slowing down whatsoever as he follows up from his ‘Mimose’ release, sharing his elated new single ‘Let It Burn’. The single is a captivating ballad infused with liberating tones and a true sense of purpose, driven by a glistening production and lo-fi vocals from Berlin-based choir A Song For You, a dynamic Berlin-based choir and ensemble project. The choir project brings together over 50 voices from the city's vibrant R&B and soul scene, with the atmosphere of the song constantly ascending through percussive hand claps and an effervescent lively tone. When talking about the track, the artist explains: “‘Let It Burn’ is inspired by ‘Bed on Fire’ by Teddy Swims. When I saw a stripped-down acoustic version of the song, I was impressed and started working on my version right away. I was looking for a choir that could add a gospel-esque atmosphere to it.”

The invigorating Indie-Electro anthem has fuelled the fire of excitement for his upcoming album ‘Mimose’ out on the 19th April, with the artist really beginning to flex his musical nous as he meanders his way across the musical landscape. Parra for Cuva’s music, combined with stunning visuals, creates a magical realm where the resonance of Caribbean steel drums may intertwine with ancient Zimbabwean instruments and transports the listener to distant lands, with the artist’s upcoming album promises to follow suit.

Parra for Cuva not only comes with a strong musical prowess, but also his visually enchanting live sets. Each live performance is a sensorial experience, carefully curated to match the unique and otherworldly aesthetic of his music. The artist has sold out shows at E1 and KOKO, and appearances at Junction 2 and an upcoming live show at Drumsheds for Drumcode on the same lineup as Adam Beyer, Yotto, Kolsch and others, 2024 is shaping up to be a monstrous year for Parra for Cuva.
