Kwoli Black and Karl Benjamin bring infectious energy on new single 'Pretty'

Forget pretty in pink, following his latest release, it’s all looking pretty in Kwoli Black. The latest release from the London-based artist in collaboration with Karl Benjamin is a braggadocious track blending funk-infused musicianship with both artists fuelled by charisma, an infectious energy, and a sensational state of entertainment that flows throughout. The single is also accompanied by a JSTRNGS production in a mild-mannered music video displaying the duo's chaotic yet comedic chemistry, as ‘Pretty’ blends musicality with the synergistic creativity of two artists determined to ignite movement.

Drawing inspiration from artists such as Tyler the Creator, Childish Gambino, Kendrick Lamar, and the local talents of Kojey Radical and Loyle Carner, Kwoli found a unique musical identity that resonated with vulnerability and innovation, speaking on the single, the artists states: “‘Who loves you better than you? Within you is all the love and admiration you need. The song is from a male's perspective but it’s for everyone. When you look good, you feel good and you do good!’”

The single is taken from Kwoli’s forthcoming 6 track project, ‘Can I Speak’, landing on your doorsteps on the 20th March, with a feature from key cultural leader and South London singer, Bina.
