Dolorous is a singer from New York, who has been very busy this year, releasing a number of singles during lockdown. Aerial Pink is his latest song, which experiments with warbling electro sounds and a punchy kick-drum enveloping his drawling voice.
The lo-fi beat creates an eerily drowsy vibe. It’s a cool, understated song and the way Dolorous sings has a pleasant repetitiousness that complements the trippy - kinda melancholic - lyrics.
Dolorous is understated and youthful in his approach to his music. So, it will be interesting to see what else he has in store, as he has been hinting at more releases via his Instagram page.
