"I'm originally from Ghana but I've lived in Charlotte, North Carolina most of my life which is why I chose Afrikano to be my name. I've been interested in producing since high-school and my main influence comes from Soulection Radio and the artists they feature there. This mix is inspired by their sound which ranges from Hip-Hop, Baile Funk, Future Bass, RnB, and classic sample flipping. I've been producing for three years now, still learning and loving every moment of the journey. So this mix has a little bit of everything which is inspired by some of my favourite artists/producers that got me interested in the craft"
