Continuing the trend of alternative takes on Hip Hop and R&B, Kayvahn’s single I Got U takes the listener on a trip with K-Si Yang’s voice and the mesmerizing beat. The song makes the listener feel ‘spacey’, and in a trance, which he expresses his feelings throughout the song. This song gives me a Post Malone feel and quite frankly, I enjoy it a lot. In a world where cloud rap and melodic trap has taken over the hip hop scene with the likes of Nav, Gunna, and Lil Uzi Vert, Kayvahn has inserted himself in a talent pool that dominates the scene today.

My guess is that this young producer will continue on an upward trajectory and the fans will soon be aware of the music that he is creating. You can tell off the jump, that he is very meticulous when creating music, Kayvahn goes the entire way making sure that his music stands out in an overcrowded scene.
