Jordy NOT Jordan Releases Best Body of Work Yet in Latest EP ‘SNM’

 

Essex-based wordsmith and charismatic cockney Jordy has recently released his highly anticipated 8-track EP ‘SNM’, and is a testament to the artist's continuous rise to the top. The artist gracefully ascended into one of the most esteemed voices in the current UK rap scene, and currently holds the prolific, well-earned title of the ‘rappers rapper’. ‘SNM’, the acronym for ‘Say No More’ fuels the artists mantra in that there is no more room left for dialogue, but instead letting the music do all the talking.

The curators latest project features noteworthy collaborations from the likes of Grime icon JME and cousin ELT Cheekz on ‘Wonderkid’, in a track that has seen nods of approval from across the musical landscape stemming from Target and Skepta, to Little Simz and Chip, even making it across the continent from American rapper SAINtJHN. Spanning across Grime, Rap, Alt-Hip-Hop and R&B, Jordy has in slick fashion demonstrated his unwavering consistency and ability to fuse varying elements of musical history and current soundscapes together, whilst also cutting through his emotions to delve into intrinsic and personal details. With themes of family echoing throughout, alongside personal endeavours and his determined rise to success, the latest project is a detailed, intrinsic insight into the journey of a young artist with the world at his feet.
